ExcelHQ SMS Terms
The ExcelHQ text message programme is operated by Excel Education Systems (EES) for people who have an ExcelHQ account (employees, contractors and authorised partners). Texts are not marketing.
How people opt in
Opt-in happens only inside ExcelHQ after signing in. On the Profile page, in the Contact information section, the user saves their mobile number and can then tick one or both optional boxes under Text messages (optional). The boxes are never ticked in advance and are not required to use ExcelHQ; email sign-in codes always remain available. Each box records a separate consent with the date and time, the mobile number, and the version of the wording shown. Changing the mobile number cancels the consent, so the person must opt in again. Phone numbers that were already on file are never treated as consent.
A public preview of the opt-in screen is at excelhq.net/sms-consent. The exact wording next to each box is:
☐ Text me sign-in verification codes
By checking this box, I agree to receive ExcelHQ sign-in verification codes by text message from Excel Education Systems (EES) at the mobile number on my profile. Codes are sent only when I request one (up to 5 messages per hour). Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. Consent is optional, is not a condition of employment or of using ExcelHQ, and email codes remain available. See the SMS Terms and Privacy Policy.
☐ Text me ExcelHQ account notifications
By checking this box, I agree to receive ExcelHQ account notifications (such as approval requests and time-sensitive work alerts) by text message from Excel Education Systems (EES) at the mobile number on my profile. Message frequency varies, up to 10 messages per week. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. Consent is optional and is not a condition of employment. See the SMS Terms and Privacy Policy.
